I personally believe labeling an injury with a specific recovery time doesn't help anyone. He's damaged his knee ligaments, it's not a short term injury. I think more than anything big Sam is panicking that now teams KNOW he won't play again, thats a big boost when you see his name out the first XI weeks before game day.
