Light Years Ahead?

Recommended Posts

Wolverhampton is 89.9 miles from Sheffield and 1:52' by car according to Google. I should think the sun rises about 3 minutes earlier over Hillsborough but still well short of a light year.

Wolverhampton is closer to the equator than Sheffield,so in December I would have thought the sun would rise slightly earlier over molyneux. On the other hand, molyneux is slightly west of Sheffield, so it might counter balance it.

For tomorrow, the sun actually rises 2 minutes earlier in Wolverhampton (08.18) than in Sheffield (08.20).

"Light cannot escape the gravity of the black hole that is Br*mh*ll Lane and therefore, to the Bl*des fans (since to them the speed of light is rendered irrelevant), they are forever consigned to stay in League One" - A. Einstein "The Theory of Relativity and Other Assorted Farmyard Tales"

The Dave Allen comment has given me a space time flash back.

I remember in another dimension cornering Dave Richards in a Urinal during the Hirst perma-injury phase and threatened to cut his balls off if he didn't get a new striker in. Two weeks later we had Darko Kovacevic. On his debut, the bloke behind me was trying to initiate a song about our new hero "Darko Darko" to the tune of "hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work we go" - despite a cool finish from a waddle ball his career, like his song, never quite took off a Hillsborough.

PS. All this is true apart from the testicular threat.
