till_i_die Posted February 14, 2015 Share Posted February 14, 2015 Lees didn't play well as captain. He made uncharacteristic mistakes and generally looked less composed. Semedo is much more used to the responsibility, and I'm sure Lees will take it in his stride (he didn't play like he was annoyed/upset today.) FlyingOwl Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Semedo been one of my favourite players this season. Was quite disappointed to see him as captain though. Wasn't he given captaincy when Anthony Gardner was broken and after a while he gave it up? Obviously felt he played better without it/didn't like the added responsibility (which I will add is absolutely fine & not a dig at Jose) Thought Tom Lees was fine as captain vs Cardiff, didn't see the Ipswich game but know he made a couple of errors.
