Wouldn't cost anything as out of contract in August but seems a Milan signing, the guy's 30 but never seems to stick around at any of the many clubs he's played at.

Mandaric that well known Slovenian who is actually Serbian. On that basis i'm out !!!!

he was born when it was kingdom of yugoslavia which basically included slovenia and serbia.

anyway, the article doesn't actually state he's slovenian anyway, just that he's well known there

We have nothing to lose offering trials to players, especially if they are based in the country we're training!

The reality may be that he's just filling a hole for our squad games out there.

In sessions we'll be trying to pit two full teams against each other and we just don't have the numbers at centre back. So we ask a local to help out. If he plays well then maybe we'll offer him a game back home or two.

But to be honest I'd put money on this trip being the last we'll hear of him in our squad
