He's more professional than that. I want Jones to succeed as much as anyone. The point i'm getting at is everyone who questions him due to our previous results does not automatically get put into the bracket of wanting DJ out. As a fan base we enjoy today. I'm a professional I've had training for my job, DJ has had training for his job, I wouldn't expect him to be able to do my job, conversely I couldn't do his job. Steadily though, it appears WE'VE improved in the past couple of games and that's pleasing to see. Tonight's victory is a step in the right direction but this will only be a good result if WE continue to back it up by winning our game next week and trying to put together a run of form which can take us further up the table. A defeat next week and fans will only presume that this has papered over the cracks because WE were playing a dire Ipswich side. Still, nevertheless. Enjoy it! Well done Dave Jones, and the team. York_Owl Posted October 27, 2012 Share Posted October 27, 2012 Irony Theres a big difference between questioning/criticising a manager and calling for his head and the vast majority fell into the former category. Still plenty more work for him to do but this is a huge result for him and us all. Exactly, Neil seems to associate any criticism of the manager as being a call for his head which is simply not the case. I think he's a top manager but he's made some mistakes and has therefore left himself open to criticism. A number of posters on here for example were calling for a three man central midfield weeks before DJ made the change. But to dare criticise the manager or make suggestions as to how we can stop conceding goals and start winning games you get accused of being a chav playing some computer game.
