Charles Monkey
TELEGRAPH NEWS - Saturday 25 June 2011 Wild scenes at Police headquarters on Snig Hill Sheffield. Officers on the night shift were puzzled when they heard noises in a store room. On opening the door, over 200 baby ostriches vacated the room and ran amok around the station. Up to now, only 160 have been captured in the station and 7 in the nearby streets. One further ostrich was found on the top deck of a bus heading for Hathersage. A police spokesman stated " If you find one of the ostriches, please report it immediately. Do not attempt to capture it as it will try to bury it's head into the pavement and suffer injuries".
