You buy players to PLAY, he obviously doesn't think Heff is good enough, and he sees enough of him to make that judgement. dorian gray Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 (edited) i didn't expect our old fashioned manager (with his old fashioned ideas) to start with heffernan, i'm hoping if he's lucky enough to be on the bench, and he gets off it before the 65th. minute (hardly likely without serious injury)...the more i look at irvine and his set ways, the more i wonder if they will cost him his job...sorry, WHEN they will cost him his job...'cos the job that wants doing at s6 is well beyond this old fart... If we hadn't of signed Madine AND Heff was still on the bench, then I would have been pissed off, but as it is, I'm looking forward to how the new guy plays.
