ashamanic
Huddersfield probably have the harder final match - at Ipswich. Birmingham could get something in their final game against Norwich That said, it's in Wednesday's hands, and one more win should be enough. A victory won't relegate Huddersfield or Birmingham, but it will mean only one can catch us. From that pov, a Birmingham win is the worst outcome
Southie_Owl
This is probably worst case but realistic.... QPR = 51 Stoke = 50 Blackburn = 49 Plymouth = 49 Birmingham = 49 OWLS = 47 Huddersfield = 44 Rotherham = 24
1952Owl
ashamanic IF Huddersfield did beat Brum..... then their total points would be: Huddersfield 47 points Birmingham 46 points Ipswich should beat Huddersfield. + Brum v Norwich? I can't see Brum winning, as Norwich in play off fight. Possibly a draw? I THINK IT'S BEST IF HUDDERSFIELD WIN Bud??????
Owl_For_a_Lifetime
Blackburn =52 Stoke =51 QPR =50 Plymouth =48 Birmingham =47 OWLS =47 Hudderfield =45 Hoping this is not the case obviously, still think we'd have a great chance last day if the table does look like this... FreshOwl
We can’t go into the last game knowing ONLY a win would keep us up. Don’t think we’d do it Edited April 22 by FreshOwl
everydays_wednesday
I think alas that WBA is one hell of a tough game which we will do well to get anything from 1

Our home form isn't bad. I feel a draw is the most likely and 4 from 6 would be a good return. Then win at Sunderland.
Howmanyowls
I should have said, the Hillsborough effect should come into play. We do very well when there's a big crowd.
Geörge Whitebread
I'd say the best result for us in the Huddersfield-Birmingham game is a draw, personally... Stoke - 50 QPR - 50 Blackburn - 49 Plymouth = 49 Wednesday - 48 Birmingham = 47 Huddersfield = 45 This is also a possibility though... Blackburn - 50 Stoke - 50 QPR - 50 Wednesday - 50 Plymouth = 49 --------------------------- Birmingham = 49 R - Huddersfield R - Rotherham

From that pov, a Birmingham win is the worst outcome If Brum beat udders and we beat WBA then udders are down. Personally I think a draw for udders v Brum would be the best result for us. Brum winning, the worst. But it's a close call, other than a Brum win we're going to have a team on 47 points with a better GD. Ideally we'll win, udders Brum is a draw and Blackburn and Plymouth both lose. That way we have a few teams below us given more permutations to stay up on the final day as we can't be mathematically safe until then.
fpowl
Any result in Birmingham Huddersfield game puts us in bottom 3 if we lose again my guess thing is a 1-0 to Huddersfield and them losing a good 4-0 on last day may keep us up on goal difference I think we're only 3 behind them now I think we will get at least another point before this season is finished, my guess is we need
1952Owl
fpowl Owls goal difference to Huddersfield now is 2 bud. Huddersfields last game is at Ipswich! Ipswich are fighting for Automatic promotion..... Leeds up their back side. (Southampton threw auto away after losing at Cardiff). IPSWICH COULD HIT 5 AGAINST HUDDERSFIELD, UNLESS THEY HAVE ALREADY SECURED PROMOTION? THAT'S WHY I THINK BEST THEY BEAT BRUM ON SATURDAY!!!!

Going into last match if only Huddersfield can catch us then we should be ok given their final fixture. Would not be shocked if Birmingham beat a safe in play offs Norwich.
