Escaping the drop would be tremendous and a job well done to a manager with very little backing and a squad full of league one players barring the odd exception!

Come on Danny you’ve got this son!

Make a great t-shirt, ideal for the Spanish beaches or Euros in the summer when chatting with the Germans

Once went on hols to Majorca in the early 80’s, ended up with another English couple in a German ‘occupied’ hotel. First morning down for breakfast this kid had a t-shirt on…

Adolf Hitler On Tour, Adolf’s pic on the front and on the back all the countries the Germans had invaded with Britain and Russia crossed out with the word ‘cancelled’ above.

Needless to say it didn’t go down very well the the fellow guests.

Now that’s some bollo*

What a pair of seasons it's been. If we stay up we need an epic chant about the whole journey.

How’s about from the film Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines..

They go up diddly up up, they go down diddly down down..

Utterly embarrassing. Someone simply being German always brings this out from sections of the British population, and its cringeworthy at best.

The Germans themselves just shake their heads in dismay at this rubbish, and to most people it's just embarrassing when someone decides to pipe up with it all and everyone gets tarred with that attitude.

Not many left from the war so it’s not that generation keeping it going, it’s our lowly press that use it. Even see it when England play Germany. Time it was put to bed but it helps with the right wing agenda.

The tabloid press love it, and like you say people who weren't around but like to feed off it.

Met some German girls once when on a lads holiday, and one of the guys absolutely killed it for everyone by never shutting up about the war. They just felt awkward around him and left. Never forgave him!
