lukeyswfc
The summer was a disaster. Röhl is doing well with what he’s got. If we stay up, we still need a new GK, LB, RB, CB and Striker. Exactly like what we needed this summer… Gassama, Musaba and Valentin will be useful squad players. Bernard was the best but he’s only come for the shop window. jamiej
For me we kept players we brought in to get out of league one who should have been released or moved on . Our loan signings were dreadful and have contributed next to nothing . Some of the permanents look good under Danny having looked poor under Xisco purely down to being better managed and being given clearer roles and instructions . I hope we release all of our out of contract players bar bannan who I would keep around as a squad player nod give Danny scope to bring in his own players . I’d be very interested to see Delgado under Danny , being a full international with a decent team suggest he has something . All depends on wether we stay up and Danny stays I suppose 1

Röhl: 4 signings / 2 in the top 12 - 50% 'hit rate' Pre-Moore (including academy-developed players): 8 signings / 4 in the top 12 - 50% 'hit rate' Moore: 10 signings / 4 in the top 12 - 40% 'hit rate' Muñoz: 11 signings / 2 in the top 12 - 17% 'hit rate'

SiJ
The recruitment was all over the place though wasn't it. Took us an age to sign anyone, and then our first signing was Delgado? A few from the summer have done decent to ok: Bernard, Valentin, Gasamma and Musaba. And then you have the lads who have come in during Jan who have made a difference.

Nice bit of stat-twattery there! I can't be arsed to get into it, but you know exactly what BS you've pulled with that. Whatever. You hate Xisco. We get it.

Were the summer signings so bad after all ? You seem to have forgotten Buckley, Hendrick, Vasquez, Fletcher, Mo Diaby, Delgado. Yes Xisco brought in a few potential young players, but we still sit 23rd in the table so clearly these players are not world beaters, but hopefully with a good manager with a clue they may get better. Gassama never started a game for Xisco, was not played in 7 of his 10 league games making just 61 minutes under Xisco.

I go out of my way to like as many of your posts as possible. I try to be civil and I get nothing but BS from you. I've not made it personal. You know what you've done with the stats there. You know full well it's not an accurate portrayal of the situation. But you have an agenda. It's no more complicated than that really.

But the recruitment was heavily influenced by the fact we weren't spending money We needed to sign multiple players because of the fiasco of recruitment the seasons before In a higher division with no money yet needing so many players then I don't think it was so bad at all. 2

I'm being critical of the entire recruitment process. I don't really understand why this point keeps getting missed. It's not just having a pop at Xisco. Yeesh.

Honestly - I just thought it would be worth looking at how Muñoz's signings have performed for us this season, so...um...I found the stats for that and shared them as a discussion point. That's all. Then you came steaming in all het up and started making weird accusations about me...again.

And again, I don't think XM was heavily involved in recruitment It's not about him - it's about what folk expect when trying to sign multiple players for the championship with zero funds
