lukeyswfc
London tax surely. Seems steep but being in that area of London they’ll likely get a taker. Like Chelsea though isn’t their ground at its maximum due to space? They’re at their ceiling but could easily become a Europa conference side for a bit with a sign and sell on strategy. It’ll only go wrong when everyone demands top 4 and it crashes.
scram
I said a while back that Brentford need to have a contingency plan in place They've pretty much reached their peak and their model is increasingly difficult to sustain Bentham realises this and probably wants to get out while they're in relatively decent shape and with his pockets bulging
nevthelodgemoorowl
What pigs me off is that our three (Criminals) did more than two and a half years servitude plus the extended period on licence with only one of the three 'Swan' going on to end his career at the cheap end of his service. Yet all three were, at the time, worthy of international status. Yet Ivan Toney had no criminal convictions just an FA/Premier fine and walks straight back into Free Transfer territory with huge wages and a bumper signing on fee. The lack of correlation disgusts me !
