From a higher up award, j assume it's also about types of support ie sport science etc and how to work with then?!

It is basically a money making racket and tisis enforced by requiring individuals to have a badge to work.

 

How many fail to get the coaching badges. I have never known anyone fail yet, Although one person I know packed inbefore finishing course.

Thinking about it. Surely they are like driving licenses.... You learn to drive after the qual. The coaching quals give you the basics.

 

If they were around, how would you know a certain ex player has the skills and knowledge to start management?

So many bad bad managers out there, floating around, taking jobs, failing, then taking another job

 

Back in the day it was Big Sam, Big Mick and co who were the journeymen you'd call

Now it's the likes of Gary Rowett, Tony Pulis and Garry Monk who are floating round this level with their relentless failings and their coaching badges.
