Incidentally, there is the small matter of him playing REGULARLY, and in a REGULAR position, which suits him.

Maybe, he's responding more to the confidence placed on him by his manager, than the fans who love a scapegoat.

I don't agree with a lot of people saying he's upped his game

 

He's still the same player, he still puts a shift in same as he's always done, the difference now is some supporters are starting to see what he does well

 

I think some supporters are starting to realise what he offers, and they're accepting he's not as bad as they thought

 

He's the best defensive full back at the club, maybe he doesn't bomb forward like a lot of supporters want, but defensively, he's always been solid

 

He puts a decent shift in at centre half too when required

 

I'd love to see his stats for getting blocks in, for me that's his big strength.
