PortlandOwl
To be honest, I just remember the curly perm. Amazingly, they were fashionable around that time.
sexpistol
He played in 4 cup games as well for us 19 in total. I can’t remember much about his performances to be honest. He was a striker yet for many games he seems to play more midfield. If I recall he took Kevin Taylor’s place in the team. I think he was the other player along with Pat Heard who was left behind in the hotel before the semi final. Ive actually heard the story from Pat Heard first hand in a check in queue at Malaga airport.
gurujuan
Didn’t we have a guy called Simon Mills as well, an England youth international?

Yes, he was a defender, but I think later in his career played midfield. In 3 seasons he played 6 times ( only 2 were starts) I think his debut was as a sub against Charlton in that amazing 5-4 game
