Yes it does, and that is why a lot of us are rather concerned about the lack of transfer activity. If anyone thinks that side will keep us in the division, they're in for a rude awakening. All I see these matches for, is an opportunity to get the fitness levels up to scratch as I'm still hopeful this eleven will bear no resemblance to the line up that kicks off the season

 

I can see why Owls are concerned about lack of transfers. I thought by time we went to Slovenia we would have basis of side that would start vs Brighton but that was never going to happen. I think likes of Nuhiu and Lavery can make good impacts for us next season but I don't see them getting 15+ goals. Id say Maguire has best chance of that. Interested to see what Gray says after game tonight considering he wanted players in for Slovenia trip. I'd expect a few trialists to be going as well.
