Guest Ian38018
Hi Folks I attended the Leeds match as a neutral with my son. A few pics and scribbles may be found here, should anyone find it if interest. http://ian38018.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/sheffield-wednesday-hillsborough.html Regards Ian

The Hoppy Hopper
Great blog and very much in keeping with my view of it from the North (towards the Kop). Do you mind if I share it on Facebook? I'll even forgive you for the comment about Bramall Lane! ;)
Freshfish
Enjoyed that...cheers. Presume that's your 'son' in the pics?...do us a favour...get him a new shirt ...too many bad memories associated with that one. Lovely part of Scotland, Fife...spent many happy weekends up there and have friends there too. Come back soon.

andrewowl
Just the sort of thing the FA need to have a read of (and a certain MP) It is ok for those of us at the match to comment, but for Neutral fan to pass the same comments, is just what is needed

MartinOwlMan
Really good read Is Sandyside the correct name for Hallam FC's ground? I have played there but it was about 25 years ago and I thought it was slightly different. Someone on here will put this right either way I'm sure. Guest Ian38018
Of course it is Sandygate - it is just us foreigners sometimes have difficulty with the English language. Thanks folks, for your kind words. To EM-Owl - Happy for you to share. To the realist - a very good question. Why I do it - The blog is primarily a place to share the pics I take on my travels. I generally add a few words to try to make things a bit less boring. As to who reads it? Well folks like you do. 333 views from Owlstalk just this evening. And over 28,000 since I started the thing - although I think the majority of visitors are folks looking for pictures of grounds. I do not kid myself that my purple prose is the attraction. It's a great collection of memoirs you've built up. Well worth doing and its an interesting read, always interested what neutrals opinions are on the ground, club, and matchday experience. Keep it up and you'll have a right set of memories when you sit down in your old grandpa chair mate
OxonOwl
Your English is good which is refreshing. Many blogs say good things but a written atrociously which for me detracts from the experience.
