dunsbyowl
In one of Keith Farnsworth books he states this is a 1910 Wednesday team. Can anyone confirm this is Hillsborough? Is it towards Leppings Lane? That looks like a school building to the rear?

DJMortimer
Was it Bramall Lane during the home leg of their play-off semi-final against Stevenage?
owlsincefifties
This picture is on the "Picture Sheffield" ( Ref v01156 ) website along with loads of other great photos of the "old days". It looks as though its taken in the days when there was just grass terracing round most of the ground. the building in the background looks like the school that is still on Parkside Road/Catchbar Lane so its at the junction of the South Stand and Leppings Lane stand, somewhere near the scoreboard. Aren't the team in Hillsborough Park with Hillsborough Primary on Parkside Rd in the background? i.e the camera man is facing the Park Hotel in the distance?
