Adam1867
Are wednesdayites still classing Dave Jones as unbeaten? or has the Lisbon match killed his record? Edited August 14, 2012 by Adam1867
TheEnchanter
The Lisbon one was a friendly so it doesn't count. 15 games unbeaten in all competitions.
sheffield_dave
Well if only professional matches count then yes, he is still unbeaten. It's not like Huddersfields run where they just selectively ignored competetive fixtures. I don't think a pre-season warm up session counts. Lee A
Friendlies only count towards your record if you're an international manager in my opinion.

TheEnchanter
Are we going for Hudds record then? If we went the first 30 odd games unbeaten this season I'd eat my face and arm on live television.
WayneTheOwl
If we went the first 30 odd games unbeaten this season I'd eat my face and arm on live television. Imagine that though. If we went another 20-25 games, Premier League here we come. Not a chance though. Derby away is tough enough.

Tawny Owl
If we went the first 30 odd games unbeaten this season I'd eat my face and arm on live television. From a logistics point of view I suggest you go for the arm first.

"Oh it didn't count, it was a playoff match." "Oh it didn't count, it was a cup match." "Oh it didn't count, it was an away match." TA-DA!! 40+ games unbeaten. Well done HTFC. The stuff of legends.
