I think we need to sit down and re-assess where we stand now. We need to acknowledge that we're outsiders for second and that we're chasing that position, rather than trying to defend it. Who knows what can happen from there. United won't win every game between now and the end of the season. As unlikely as it feels at the moment, you'd have to say there's likely to be at least one more momentum shift in the promotion race before the end of the season. If I were to say we will regain 2nd place, my hand would be full of straws, so full that if I were to wiggle my little finger outwards then most of them would become loose and fall on the floor.
