Guest intercity0wl
Have we had him for any other matches this season? Nope, he did do the Pigs Defeat at Stevenage earlier this season, and Barnsley demolition of Weeds the other week. liam greeny
There are worse ref's that could have been appointed! Quite happy with that decision

Guest BirdonaMaguire
Swarbrick has reffed two of our games which saw 2 players sent off for 1 of the teams 2006/07 season - Coventry away lost 3-1 2006/07 season - West Brom away won 1-

And if he does turn out be a bit garbage, at least his name rhymes with a lot of useful words.

tomhollywood
Just goes to show how poor some refs have gotten when you start getting threads about them. Fingers crossed this bloke remains annoymous and refs a good game.
31Dec1966
Doesn't matter who it is, they're all so inconsistent it's untrue. On Saturday JJ was penalised for a high foot when he controlled the ball quite gently. I counted 4 REAL high feet later (2 from each side) that went unpunished. Another time Reda made a perfect tackle in the area, the ref theatrically made a ball with his hands indicating why he hadn't given a penalty. WHAT? there was never even a hint of a foul, why did he feel the need to do that.
dorian gray
with modern day multi camera/angle coverage our refs are looking far worse than their predecessors ever did... add to that the handcuffs imposed by fifa, and uefa not allowing the modern day ref to think for himself... and you're left with something that looks like the ballzup we have at present... the fact that the ballzup in england appears to be bigger than on the continent can only be due to our fa... with our games not receiving the coverage the premier, or even the championship get... the level of buffoon we have had this season takes some swallowing (there can't be so many basil fawlty's about)... it appears they actually relish the opportunity to court controversy, and thrive on being unpopular... it's about time some of these arseholes were sacked, and replacements found from the normal people in society, and not the oddballs that often go into football refereeing...god knows it pays enough...
