swfc1867jm
Bath City's pig mascot was christened Bladud at Saturday's home game with Darlington. Young fans were invited to suggest a name for the club's summer signing, pictured, in a competition run in conjunction with the Chronicle and the winner was eight-year- old Leonie Milne. Bladud, named in honour of the king who reportedly founded the City of Bath in 863 BC, now has his own personalised black and white shirt with '00' on the back – resembling a pig's snout. Communications manager Ned Vaught said: "Bladud is happy with his new name. "Several people have asked if he is going to start wearing a crown now that he is named after a king. He says he would prefer to wear a Roman helmet, and we are on the lookout for one that is large enough." Kinda sounds like blade I suppose
