SiJ
Doesn't include defenders in same time period. Jones Beevers Johnson (2) Perhaps we should play our midfielders up front, the defenders in midfield, and the strikers at the back.
Arthur Bach
Perhaps we should play our midfielders up front, the defenders in midfield, and the strikers at the back. Only at Wednesday would that sound sensible. The point is - if other areas of the pitch can get themselves in goalscoring positions. Why not the strikers? Why not the strikers? The only player who looked like scoring last night was JJ. Are all our strikers are just flat out terrible? Still feel that there is a lack of quality coming from midfield. adamwestsleftear
No striker is going to get goals in that team. The midfield don't provide support and offer any outlet to the strikers. mellor has 14 in 24,,not bad for a striker who cant get a game, and plays with a midfield that"dont provide support" why isnt he in the team? Glenn59
At last it's Heff time. Feed him boys...... He's hungry. First time this season team selection is right. Gauranteed win tonight. yes to the lions!!!!!!! I simply don't see him as our wonder man, the saviour of the season. Runs round looking like some bugger nicked the barrels from under his arms. The odd nice touch but hardly a legend in the making

Hack-Abusi
hilarious ... 2 performances where he has had flip all in terms of service and now Heffernan is becoming a scapegoat give him his P45, he's shyte, he's not our saviour etc give the man a flipping chance ffs and get off his back. starts against Southampton and Brentford and your writing him off and he won more headers then bloody madine who's probably a foot taller then him! some fans astound me .. they really do ... BRADDAZ
What use is Heffernan whn the ball is been pelted at his head from all angles, every time we're in possession? All we did was pelt it forward to Madine and Heffernan, that'd all we did at Dagenham too (obv. with just Madine). It's rumbleing w*nk. We've got Osbourne and O'Brien in the middwl of the park who we all feel are good enough for this level at least, yet they barely touch the ball. Why? Because it's pelted over their heads then on the few occasions we get it out wide we've got either Teale, Potter and Sedgwick who are terrible. Lack of creativity, due to inept players and a poor style of football. Can't wait for this season to finish and hopefully Megson will sort this very obvious problem.
