Sam779
How are ticket sales looking for the upcoming games against Derby and Watford? Also be nice to know how sales are getting on for the Pigs game. We need to push sales and a bit of publicity couldn't do any harm.

Luckily I've just been looking at the numbers so have them to hand :) These are home sales only including Season Tickets and Event Sales. Derby County: Just short of 16,000 Watford: Just under 14,300 Sheffield United: Just short of 17,000 I think Derby have sold somewhere in the region of 2500, so we have 18,500 sold for Saturday in total so far. dan27
On average, how many do we sell on the turnstiles for a saturday match ?
cardiffowl06
Those seem low. Maybe a deal, 2 games for £35? (United and Palace)

Wednesday-Wonderland
Those seem low. Maybe a deal, 2 games for £35? (United and Palace) You really don't do yourself any favours. We only have one offer left this season and it will be used for the Palace match.
dan27
This season we've averaged around 1500 on the turnstiles. Thanks. We need to shift a fair few tickets tomorrow then. I honestly expected around 24,000 on saturday.
Brownlad
Those seem low. Maybe a deal, 2 games for £35? (United and Palace) there would be no point though 2 for 1 games are only worth it for games where one is an attractive fixture and one is an unattractive fixture... for example if you charged 2 for £35 you would pick Sheffield United at home and maybe Sflaphorpe on a Tuesday night as the second game. We'll get a bumper crowd for united because its united and the palace game will have a great uptake because it's the last (and maybe pivotal) game of the season. What about £15 a ticket any were in ground? THE LAST TICKET OFFER IS FOR CRYSTAL PALACE. THAT MEANS NOT MORE TICKET OFFERS BECAUSE WE WOULD HAVE USED OUR FULL AMOUNT UP! FOOTBALL LEAGUE/ FA RULES, NOT OURS! *Rant over* Didnt realise Derby was a cat A game!
Chris C
Sheff Utd sales a disgrace we definately need to do something for that game to get a full house. What about £15 a ticket any were in ground? There is still plenty of time before the Sheffield United game. We've got a month of home ticket sales, plus away sales and walk up to be added to the 17k so we should be looking at a healthy number come game time. Many fans still haven't got used to tickets being on sale for all games so early, so we naturally see a big spike in sales closer to the game. That said, if you haven't got your ticket for this one yet then do it now :) http://shop.sheffieldwednesday.co.uk/events.aspx?section=eve Edited March 18, 2010 by Chris C
