Sydney.
Clocks between here and the UK roughly go forward/back and vice versa at the same time. Start and end of the season 3pm kick offs are midnight, but for most of the season it's 2am.
I’d renew if you could catch up on a game without knowing the score.
Ive spent most of the season dreading that next season will be League 1. Being up at 2am to watch Morecombe park the bus for 90 minutes is extremely off putting.
My knees aren’t great, but it was my left ankle that made me give it away.
I used to play football in winter and cricket in summer. Being left footed and a right arm bowler, that ankle would take a hammering year round.
I stopped at 33. Mostly because of injuries, which probably wasn’t helped by having so many over 30s in our team getting injured too, a few of us constantly played injured so we’d have 11 on the field.
There’s not a lot in it for anyone to build the game here.
Australia does have an excellent record of hosting major sporting events, has plenty of pre existing facilities and anything new or upgraded would be well utilised. I think England more than anyone could attest to that meaning nothing.
FIFA have been able to keep their hands clean this time though.
Australia had no chance of hosting it. FIFA wanted bids that had the backing of their confederation. The AFC President had backed the Saudi bid immediately, which essentially decided the host there and then.
