Yeah, but Reach was mostly a winger, so you would expect more goals and assists in a season than a deep-lying midfielder. Bannan's performances were mostly under-par in 16/17 and absolutely sublime in 17/18, but it doesn't come through in those stats because he's not a striker or winger where you can judge his output on goals and assists.
Emerson Thome
Surely consistent doesn't = best. Wouldn't the most consistent player be someone like Chris O'Grady? Always put a shift in, gave 100%, never looked like scoring bags of goals, but chipped in now and then. Or Loovens until his last season, when his legs went.
millomowl
After numerous hours of consultation. I can confirm the following will not be in the selection - Old Tidman Kim Olsen - promised amazing things after his scoring record in the Danish 8th tier and geeing us up at Port Vale away. Jon Beswertherick - taken off after 17 mins rules him out. For me it's Bannan, every day.

WimJunk
Obviously a lot of people saying Bannan. I personally wouldn't have him down as the most consistent. I can recall a few big Sheffield derbies where he has been anything but. However, Bannan's good performances outweigh the bad by far.
