An Huddersfield win would be a much better result, puts them on 47 with a goal difference like ours. If it's a draw Birmingham would have 47pts and a much better goal difference.

I personally want Huddersfield relegated on Saturday.

I know quite a few Huddersfield fans that’s all

Even if that puts us at more risk?

Even if Huddersfield win they’ll still probably go down unless they get something at Ipswich.

A draw for Birmingham and they’ll likely get 50 points against a Norwich team saving themselves for the play offs.

That would mean we need 4 points to come above them!

Huddersfield win all the way.

By the same token, that thumping at Huddersfield could relegate us. Then It would be DR's fault 😆

If we'd have not been hammered by them, we'd have a better GD than them now.

Leicester & Leeds favourites for automatic now. Ipswich have couple of tricky away games before final home game v udders. Could be out of automatic race by then and resting players. Not sure udders win is therefore best result v Brum.

Hull beating Ipswich on Wednesday may also mean Norwich need points on final day v Brum. Everything seems interlinked at top and bottom!

Feels like a home win on Saturday is vital.

I know it’s on a lot of minds and, I suspect we’ve all done these permutations, but I consider it therapeutic to get this down ‘on paper’.

So if Carlsberg did penultimate Saturday Results Forecast - it would look like this:

Southampton v Stoke - home win

QPR v Leeds - away win

Blackburn v Coventry - draw

Millwall v Plymouth - draw

WAWAW v WBA - home win

Huddersfield v Birmingham - home win

So the table at 5pm Saturday would look something like this -

Stoke.                 50 pts

QPR.                    50 pts

Blackburn.          50 pts

WAWAW.            50 pts

Plymouth.           49 pts

Huddersfield.     47 pts

Birmingham.      46 pts

Time for a lay down - this is too stressful and we’ve still got the final weekend to go!

This is starting well
