Apparently you have to stay out of the county for a certain amount of time to avoid paying said tax which is why a move to Ajax is better than a move back to England, 2 years time he'll be back amd claim all that money, such a hard life. Yep correct, I know a few ex forces guys out there working for BAE systems, all on 2yr contracts. Totally unaccompanied, they get a week off every 4months to come back home. I know it's comparing apples with oranges but having your family living close by in luxury over in Bahrain isn't a massive hardship in the grand scheme of things. Wife and kids are just as likely not to settle in Amsterdam, unless the plan is they live back in UK and he fly's home for a couple of days every week...
