It's hard to believe it's ten years already since he died.

We can only go on what people say about him as we don’t know him personally but no one spoke a bad word about him and he seemed a genuinely nice guy.

 

just goes to show that money etc… isn’t everything in life. It was and still is sad news.

Heartbreaking to watch.

 

I remember watching that Football Focus, not because there was anything particularly memorable about it at the time, but only because of what happened the following day.

 

What a tragic lens through which to view something so seemingly prosaic and mundane.

 

I lost a close friend to suicide a few years back, and the pain it leaves behind is unreal. That nagging feeling that you could have done something, if only they'd called,  you missed a sign etc. eats away at you.

 

The look on his parents' faces at the funeral will haunt me for the rest of my life.

It’s tragic and the mystery behind why can’t help either. 
 

Such a strong character to ultimately go out in this way…  I guess nobody knows what’s going on with someone apart from that someone them self sometimes.
