Our season in a table - THIS is why we went down

It's CRUCIAL we keep looking for these reasons not to acknowledge Chansiri relegated this club

Keep going

The vast majority of us agree that Chansiri cost us the season. The points deduction contributed to poor transfer activity in the summer window, his lack of activity in the January window, the backing then early sacking of 1 manager, followed by a disastrous appointment, followed by taking 2 months to make a 3rd appointment and the debacle over payment of salaries.

That doesn't mean that the team didn't miss good opportunities to stave off relegation in spite of the sh*tshow from above.

Agree with this completely, it’s a season long debacle.

Mid table with a +5 gd at home.

Rock bottom with a -26 gd away.

Such a monumental swing in goal difference from home to away. Says a lot about the mindset and belief of the players.

Agree. You have to be  made of pretty thin stuff to play away and be intimidated by the roar of an empty stadium.

we won more games than three teams above us

we lost less games than the 3 teams above us

we won more points than the 3 teams above

we can spin it anyway we want as to why we went down be it poor players ,crap managers  ,not getting pts from this club or that club.......but as bad as they were they did enough to stay up if someone hadnt fecked up on the finances .

relegation is  down to the owner and no one else .

Yep. Going down is never a one match thing. Many many errors have cost us points that would have kept us up. 27 points lost from winning positions. Terrible away form. No points after conceding first. Etc etc.
Ultimately we lost because our players were not good enough. Which is because our chairman is not good enough.

and our managers failed to make up the difference!
