Any other club offers a contract player does sign then we sell him on and replace him.

 

At SWFC under Captain Mainwaring, we waits until the last minute to offer a contract for the highest paid player of his age group, get told to wait and wait and wait then DC panics and doubles his offer and we get lumbered with a player who doesn't want to be here. While we let promising youngster leave on a fraction of what these players are on.

 

the said player then sits out the last 12 months of his deal because the manager does not play him.

 

Then our chairman cannot sell him because he inserted a loyalty bonus in the contract that he gets for staying and not playing. (£4.3m in the 2019 account sitting waiting to be paid).
