How and why has he reappeared?

The state of his defending yesterday.

useless.

Really? I thought it was one of his better games tbh and considering he was playing at left back rather thank RB! You should cut him some slack. Think we defended quite well on Saturday as a team.

He did ok for most of the game, certainly got involved going forward, but had 2 glaring errors that should have resulted in goals against.
Being casual on the edge of our area, slow to clear and robbed from behind in the 1st half.
Then slow to get up the pitch after playing it back to Dawson, and so putting 2 of their guys onside and thru on goal. Our defensive line was way too high as well, but Odubajo should be getting up quicker, especially since everyone else is holding on half way.

All that said, it was an odd decision by Monk to use Odubajo at left back. Palmer's played there a fair bit for us and been pretty solid. Odubajo's more familiar with right back and has been questionable defensively on the whole. So why shunt him to the left side and make things harder for him? Manager isn't helping him tbh.

Borner has been found out as well IMO...

Always seems to be on the wrong side of the attacker..

And gets done for pace all the time.

Yes...he has been all over the place recently.

Seems desperate to try and nab the ball early, but then is left hopelessly exposed if that doesn't work.

agree - it’s no good him being “steady” for 99% of the game if in the other 1% he gifts them two clear chances.
