Guest ka58
I don’t get how he was made available by monk seemingly cos he doesn’t rate him. plays against qpr - bit random but suppose he might be trying to put him in shop window. plays him again against Wigan and is again directly involved in a last minute winner for opposition. plays him again against Millwall and plays 3 players onside for a gilt edged chance. how many more goals/chances do we want him to gift before we just stop playing him? torryowl
what do you do ?....he's a liability but if palmer or fox are missing he's the best we have unless we take our best centre back out .

You are right of course. But a defence of Dom-Lees-Borner-Palmer is better than Palmer-Dom-Borner-Moses

No cover in the squad for Fox at left back. Penney out on loan and Thornily transferred. One of our right full backs had to do it. Had a couple of panicky moments as did most of the others, but basically he coped ok playing out of position.

Yes he didn’t get out with the others but the line the held was way too high and worse was they all froze for a split second. It was bad defending all round
cowl
He played most of his football on the left for Brentford last year, so I'm not surprised he did no worse there than on the right. He did okay, and probably better than many of us are giving him credit for; it's hard after all to filter out these last 6 months and see each game afresh. I actually thought he showed a little more attacking intent than what he usually does on the right. When we signed him, I wasn't expecting a rock solid defender as I knew he had a mistake or two in him (not anything like as bad as he has been though), but I was expecting to see a full back that would always be looking to get forward. The reality though is that he's barely ventured forward. In fact, he's probably been our most conservative full back. Still, I thought he at least looked to get forward more against Millwall, so some credit there. One thing that was a little unusual though was the position he seemed to occupy; a lot of the time he was a good 20 yards or so from the touchline. Quite noticeable, and I can only think he was under orders to do this - probably to combat the danger of Wallace - who I suppose had a fairly quiet game, so credit is maybe due there too. Roscoe P. Coltrane
Borner has been found out as well IMO... Always seems to be on the wrong side of the attacker.. And gets done for pace all the time.

And Bannan as a result Is allowed to roam around way too deep .. Caught him in the queue ordering a Beres on Herries road at twenty past four Saturday .. Hector wouldn't have allowed that ... Kew Owl
I thought he was OK on Saturday, but, taking his performances over the season as a whole, it's become apparent why Brentford - a club that are generally good at getting the best out of players - opted against extending his contract at the end of last season
bigdan2003
Reminds me of fox in his first couple of years at the club. I hope it works out for him. Certainly seems like he’s putting the hard work in behind the scenes.
The only way is S6
Playing him at LB against Millwall was tactical imo. They had a pacey RB & right midfielder. I believe Harris & Moses were paired up to counter this. And it worked.
