But two sloppy moments cost us the game (even then we nearly drew). But our toblerone footed sloppy passing play is awful to watch. Also agree re Blades. They press high up the pitch and I expect a similar kind of game. Wilder will have been watching that with extra interest and hopefully by then we will have learned how to simply get rid! Stoop Posted October 20, 2018 Share Posted October 20, 2018 Boro’s style is exactly the same as how we would set up if we still had Megson, powerful units all over the pitch, a couple of decent wide men who can put a decent cross in, and a goalscorer up top Its not pretty but it’s still very effective at this level. They were on top for a while thereafter, but other than that we went toe-to-toe with them, despite a number of our players having an off day. We go again. That's the thing I've noticed about us this season. We don't look out of place against the highly rated teams, but we seem to get punished by errors and lack of concentration.
