StudentOwl Posted September 4, 2015 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Well in fairness, if the emotional/personal problems Melo is going through are serious enough for him to require compassionate leave it's probable he didn't want it splashed over the OS/social media. True, but it wouldn't have to be. During some piece of press just have a mention "Filipe Melo has been granted compassionate leave due to personal reasons"... No fuss needs to be made and you'd like to think that humanity would dictate that no-one would question it or pry further. If anything the fact that it isn't clear that that's the case as its just here say is more likely to encourage people to question further. I get where you're coming from completely though, and obviously if Melo himself has asked that the thing be kept under wraps then kudos to the club for respecting that.
