So on that logic let's say come jan/feb we're in the top ten looking for a play off spot or, in the play offs looking for an automatic spot we should sack Gray and get Jones in who would then lead us to promotion to the premier. Jones got it spot on in those 36 games and made mistakes the following season! Just an honest assessment! Problem with the cult is your heads are buried in the sand that deep you wouldn't get the truth if it fell in your laps! Megson put some pride back in our club but let us down massively by acting like a baby when the owner dare criticise his crap football and crap results! I was sad to see him go as he had so much enthusiasm for the club, some didn't like his style of play but he was able to grind out some wins and whilst he had some duff performances (the 5-1 away reverse at Stevenage was a dark, dark day), he brought out some real fighting spirit and instilled a sense of real pride in the club after the Irvine era. Beating Yoonited at home in his last game was, looking back, a great sendoff for him. He'd be up there with my favourite Wednesday managers, that's for sure. Thank you based Meggo.
