trevdi9 Posted October 7, 2012 Share Posted October 7, 2012 because having an understanding of what's going on instead of just watching the ball is how you know if a striker is doing his job....COG played with his back to goal and the defenders didn't have to find him...he did alright but was isolated and whilever we have no one running past teh first man we make it easy for defenders...Madine did something different as he dragged to two central defenders about leaving holes for other players...again he was isolated so whenever he got the ball he was surrounded by three or four defenders...Mcguire DOES run past the first man so I'm surprised that he hasn't been given a look in Thats spot on daveyboy ,we need that link to the forwards mate , Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We're new to this league with sh1tloads of new players. Some of the better players from last year's team are injured. We were top of the league less than two months ago, with a run it could happen again. We're falling into a trap...... We're not in the Premier League struggling, we're in a league where we're getting punished but it doesn't take much to become punishers. Stop whining and get behind them. Remember what we've escaped and where they are. We've put up with some right poo over the last few years and this comes nowhere near. What the flip is up with us at the minute. And before you start, I live in Spain but I would happily swap with most of you to go home/away (especially away) every week. flipping pathetic in here last few weeks. Tight league.
