He could have been injured but given his previous misdemeanours and the fact that Di Canio doesn't take any prisoners I wonder what might have gone off? Lines should be back at the start of October. Pecnik is better down the middle and can play CM. Buxton has played CM before for us and Stoke. If worst comes to worse he can fill in there. Similar with Lee. And we've also got McCabe and Semedo who are our two strongest midfield players at the moment. No panic at the minute, if we find ourselves desperately short i'm sure we'll bring someone in on loan. Coke is not in DJ's plans. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In the meantime the games will do him good. Don't think Corry sees himself as a winger but agree we are light in quality centre midfield cover.
