Absolutely delighted with the take up on this pal - its a bit of sarcasm aimed at certain people who were very critical of us doing this

Personally if we only provide a service to 20 fans (never mind 200) the Wednesdayite is doing what its there to do. We have many less able-bodied travellers with us on a fairly regular basis and I'm personally very proud of what we do

They are blocking off Bramall Lane so the coaches can drop the fans off and pick them up directly outside the turnstiles

That is exactly what put me off. I can see the coach being a sitting duck for some time whilst supporters get on and the Police won't do a proper job of protecting it. Oh, and leaving my car in Wednesdayite carpark - any Blade not attending will have a pretty good idea those cars are belong to Owls fans!

So a genuine question, apart from either walking to Hillsborough to catch the buses to the Stain, or to watch Beamback, or staying in bed and setting the alarm for 2pm Sunday, what do you suggest we, wednesdyite, or SYP do to TRY and i did say TRY to make it a bit better ?.

The coach plan has been discussed with the Police from start to finish and we were made aware of the barriers on Bramall Lane weeks ago when we were planning this

The coaches will be fully escorted there and back by outriders

Never said it was a bad idea, actually think it is a great idea IF South Yorkshire's finest do their job. In the end, I don't trust South Yorkshire's finest will do their job properly, so I made the decision to do what I normally do for Derby games at Bramall Lane, which hasn't caused me any trouble yet..

Turn up to the ground not advertising the fact I'm a Wednesday fan. Unfortunately, you can't disguise getting off a 46-seater Sheffield Wednesday coach otherwise I'd have done it!
