  1. This whole "lucky' narrative really needs to stop. The OP sets out the stats and facts pretty clearly. You don't get 96 points by luck. You don't overcome a 4 nil deficit by luck. You don't get circa of 20 points more than your semi final opponents by luck. You don't get 10 points more than your final opponents by luck. You don't beat Derby county who only needed a draw to get into the playoffs by luck. You don't score 6 penalties in a match by luck. You get the point, I could go on. Regarding the final, we were the better team. It wasn't a pen and it was a red card. They were clearly told to go hard on challenges at HT. Yes they missed a sitter, their keeper also made some incredible saves, overall we had more chances and it was us who put the ball in the back of the net, twice! We got promoted breaking all kinds of records, we got promoted and it was well earned, it wasn't luck.
  2. We were the better team at Wembley, watch the highlights. We had more chances. It wasn't a pen, it was a red. Some people are so easily led by false narratives.
  3. It's probably a Wembley issue. They know the demand is there, but (from their point of view) it might not reach its potential if the only seats left are god seats. Not knowing that we would sell them if they were the only ones left. The biggest issue is the amount of seats they held back. There were loads that came on in the favoured areas, pretty much after most season tickets holders, original members and new members id's had been exhausted. The worst thing you can do is to keep looking at that map thinking what you could and should have got. You've got what you've got, if we win it, all be forgotten until next season when we're going for FA cup final tickets.
  4. I did mention at the beginning of this thread that they were doing this. They were releasing single seats in the best areas and forcing people to buy elsewhere. It didn't stack up with the number of season tickets holders we have as to why the best seats were pretty much all taken up! I thought they were holding for the players and staff families, but even so there should have been more. General Sale folk will be loving it. Season ticket holders done over.
  5. Not for me. I was in this sale period and was wanting cat 1, but nothing was available, then later a few singles here and there popped up.
  6. I'm not trying to convince you. I say what I see. There were seats not available when I bought mine that are now available, that I would have bought instead. There are a large amount of single seats available in blocks that weren't previously available. The amount of released seats we are talking are around 10 or so at a time. It's possible that people held onto these seats in their baskets, it's also possible that they are releasing single random seats, it's possible that it's a combination of both, which is what I think is happening.
  7. There will be an element of this, but I've "been around the blocks" (sorry had to get that in ) and in quite a few of them so I'm thinking they are releasing seats a few at a time in each available block and many appear to be random single seats.
  8. No, there seems to be a lot of singles in each block that has limited amounts. At first this looks like the block has sold out or nearing to selling out, but they are just releasing odd seats at a time. So when you log and you in the mindset of buying, you panic thinking it's selling out. It isn't (yet).
  9. Yes, I've just noticed this. Just looking at a block now and it's got random one seaters all over the place.
  10. Not just blocks, seats within the blocks. I'm guessing their thinking is that they don't want the stadium to have large sections of empty spaces, but that's not going to happen with us. Still annoyed at this.
  11. It's a bit frustrating that I wasn't able to get the seats I desired, 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice etc not because I wasn't first in the queue, which is perfectly acceptable, but because they are randomly releasing seats in every block. Don't think that's a fair system at all.
  12. Innit. Suggested a name change, got an offer, made a counter offer based on a condition. Condition wasn't met because the MASSIVE are going to Wembley! Everything was put on the line for the boys in in this thread. Glad I did my part.
  13. I think we won it because they kicked off. I also thought it was a good idea to kick towards the KOP first half as we needed to set the tone from the first half. I was surprised to see us win the pens towards the KOP and take the first pen.
  14. Ok, a few conditions... Need to see out the home leg first, we might win 5 nil y'know.
