FlyingOwl
I'm looking forward to this game for one reason, that Chinese chippy on Penistone Road. Otherwise friendlies are always a bit naff. Hopefully our injuries will give certain players a chance to shine...blah blah blah. Lavery's injury should see that Betra be given a place on the bench. Wednesday 2-1 Newcastle Madine and Mccabe
Paul..
Maybe the trialist forward who played in the U21 match the other day will feature?
Guest Willie Henderson
Desperate that for a pre season game there are NO new players on view! £15 is asking to much aswell it's Newcastle not Real Madrid. Enjoy it if u go !

FlyingOwl
Rangers? The game itself was abysmal. The atmosphere created by their fans stopped me falling asleep.
Lee A
Rangers? Would have been more exciting 5 years ago but I'll allow it Was thinking more Stoke and WBA in recent years, now Newcastle Edited July 30, 2014 by Lee A
FlyingOwl
Plus Newcastle aren't even bringing their best players. Pardew has said he's giving youth a chance tonight.
roaminowl
Plus Newcastle aren't even bringing their best players. Pardew has said he's giving youth a chance tonight. He's playing mind games. They really need to get through to the next round or he's in danger of losing his job.

Paul..
Plus Newcastle aren't even bringing their best players. Pardew has said he's giving youth a chance tonight. In a sense that's good news, they've made some really good signings in the last few weeks and should easily be top 10 or better next season. Paul..
Who've they brought in Grim? Daryl Janmaat Defender Feyenoord Jack Colback Midfielder Sunderland Siem De Jong Midfielder Ajax Ayoze Perez Forward CD Tenerife Emmanuel Riviere Forward Monaco Remy Cabella Forward Montpellier Janmaat is the replacement for Debuchy who in all honesty wasn't that great defensively for them IMO and Siem De Jong is their replacement for Cabaye finally, their big slump was all down to a lack of a playmaker in the midfied from what I saw.
