Guest Woz1867
A BTS or base tranciever station has a limited amount of voice/data channels. Hence why trying to connect to data is often difficult. Text messages piggy back voice channels and do not actually cost the network provider a single penny. As for blocking 3g etc this doesnt happen. Galaxypuppet
People! Read up! Even if you get a signal, its down to cell congestion! No matter what network (Apart from T-Mobile apparently, but that's because they don't have many customers ;) ) Only way to solve it is to outlay about 3 days of one players wage and install multiple WiFi points. alanharper
Vodafone, North Stand. I can rarely get on the Sky Sports app, but I have the BBC Videprinter and League One latest score pages bookmarked. I can usually get on them while the game is on, but no chance at half time. Bannofan
Late 1970's we got score updates from some old duffer with a radio pressed up against ear, or at half time from the pitchside advertising hoardings ..they had letters that correspoded to games listed in the programme. Think we should go back to that as the scoreboard doesn't work half the time. Edited March 30, 2012 by Bannofan
