Spurs players are better but the opponents are also better so the players are irrelevant. Kane’s rate is better so if they’re comparable sides that is still in Kane’s favour. I think if Shearer was around now the two would be very similar.

I'd agree.

 

Both brilliant players.

 

Kane perhaps has a bit more to his all round game, but Shearer was just a goalscoring machine back in the day.

 

Both world class footballers for me. A term bandied around a lot, but it applies to both imo.

 

One thing Kane must do is start winning things; even it is just getting one league title.
