matthefish2002 Posted November 20, 2020 Share Posted November 20, 2020 Lincoln City. I have never seen Wednesday play here although I think we have played a couple of pre season games here recently. I have been once being a bit of a Groundhopper. Was absolutely freezing and was one of those afternoons where you wonder what yo are doing outside. I went to the old Oxford ground once. What an eccentric ground that was! Lost 1-0 in the League Cup when Pleat was manager. Remember losing here 2-0 soon after relegation from Premier League in 2000 when Paul Jewell was manager. Was one of 8 games in a row we lost. Was alarming how fall we had fallen in a short time which 20 years later we have not really recovered from.
