Didnt monk come out last week and say our aim was never the playoffs or something like that.

Or the time DC said when he bought the club and spunked money on a bunch of players, it was only to avoid relegation, which we accomplished, so it was a job well done!

In all seriousness, there's been talk about DC not willing to admit failure, him saying "our goal was to avoid relegation" buys right into that. Fascinating.

I'm fat, bold and 40+, my chances are minuscule at best.

Draw your own conclusions from that.

Fat, doesn't help if you are trying to pull.

Bold, that might.

40 plus, Gwen must be knocking on now.

Are you sure it's your chances that are miniscule....😀

Indeed. Maybe it's just more competitive... Ie better, harder, not worse

Have you watched any Championship football this season?

No way is the overall quality 'not worse' than it has been since Chansiri came.

I must admit I never ever accept anything is impossible until the numbers say otherwise.. it’s a tall order but who knows?

Life is more enjoyable when you’re optimistic

Not where SWFC are concerned, it only leads to disappointment.

Far better to take a pessimistic outlook and be pleasantly surprised on the rare occasions that the worst doesn't happen! :bullen:
