sounds as though you're quite itk about the boys from bellend road, spending some time there?

their 'style of play' may, or may not work for them in the end, as promotion is a season long battle with very few victors at the end of the season.

but 'their 'style of play' won't be bogged down by coco's bullshit as we once were.

as modern football's' ****ing about with it inside your own half is NOT 'TOTAL FOOTBALL' it's TOTAL B0LL0X.

Yeah nice accuse me of being a Leeds fan. Always a mature way to 'win' a debate.

Two up front yes scoring goal because giving them good service and both fit for once. Style dog sh@t falling asleep while watching dros is manageable while winning but it's crap don't call it football it's piggies style. Can stomach it for now while up there but it's pain full. If you can't see that you can watch anything. Pay to see football not kick and rush crap. Some on here can watch paint dry pay a fortune out and be happy with that. Culture class skill and entertainment that's what we pay a fortune for get back to 80s.

We haven't got promoted yet don't crow about long ball crap working unless it does still then it's embarrassing we have dropped to such horrible crap. We are Sheffield Wednesday. When them on the other side of our city are promoted paying football and doing well in premiership (hurts to say that) and we pay to watch dross (effective just now) but dross.

Neg all you want....will  just resemble our so call style of play

Yes, I don’t think anyone would champion passing for the sake of it. Agree, up front is where we need that extra quality, and if the media are to be believed, that’s exactly where we are looking to upgrade. You will see all the top sides now, mixing it up, and not afraid to pass it long when needed Both Liverpool, and City, use such an approach Having said that, using only one form of attack, would make you predictable, and easier to defend against

of course it is.

as soon as we come into possession of the ball we should be looking to release it to our forwards to strike the opposition as quickly as possible.

should the more direct approach to the spearhead not work then the ball needs to be played out wide to allow them to cross into danger area's.

should we not be able to do this, then it's likely the ball will need to be carried aggressively into the opposition half 'drawing or committing' their 'defensive elements' in an attempt to create space in behind.

tip tapping it around our least skilful ball players IS NOT, and NEVER WILL BE, showing a good return.

ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK, strike at the opposition goal, and follow it in for the rebound.

you can add to that, two men on OUR posts when defending corners will help at the other end.

Hopefully that is why we are looking at strikers that have a bit of pace
