I would suggest that the criteria for the appointment of the new manager are quite simple:

 

• Has a keen knowledge of the Championship
• Has a track record of success in the Championship

 

That narrows it down significantly to the likes of Jokanovic, Allardyce, Moyes, Megson, Bruce.

 

We will never all agree on the best candidate but perhaps we could agree on the two key selection criteria
