The Signing of Jordan Rhodes

At the time we had just added winnal who was on fire for a steal to nuhiu, Fletcher, nando, hooper and joao. I just couldn't understand why we needed a seventh striker?, especially when we desperately needed a robust midfielder, centre back and replacement for the aging Wallace it didn't make sense to spend more cash in an already well covered area.

dc needs to stop buying players fans want

Rhodes and mcgugan wanted by the fans :duntmatter:

Maybe the reason mcgugn ended the way it was becouse of our manager at the time?, he'd been fantastic under stu and looked a good solid creative  midfielder, with a few goals in his locker and had been a revelation here on loan. Look how well certain players improved upped their game  and came on leaps and bounds when Carlos left.

Because Joao was out of form, Big Dave was useless at that time, ditto Fletcher really and Hooper was either crocked or going through a lean spell

Now explain his entire career before and since.

Mcgugans attitude was rubbish

fans at forest and Watford warned us and he couldn't even keep a place at Northampton.

Carlos can be blamed for alot but not the mcgugan travasty

I was speaking with one of McGugan's close mates recently, and even he admits he's got a terrible attitude and has fallen out with pretty much every manager he's ever played for. According to his mate, he's never been one for keeping himself in shape or following orders.

It's not as if Carvalhal was the first manager to decide he was more trouble than he's worth.

It's called management. Cloughie won Div 1 and 2 Euro Cups with a load of nutters that make McGugan look like a saint.

Carlos trashed him publicly then stuck him in Siberia. Of course he aint gonna perform at Northampton or anywhere.

Remember Newcastle away.

Rhodes on loan was a preference of many. It was an itch that needed to be scratched.

We had a lot of strikers but we were missing chances and I think he was seen by many, including me as the final piece of the jigsaw. He even lived up to that early on scoring on his Home debut and an assist at Wigan, but after the Leeds game he has seemed a shadow of that.
