Kieran Lee told Carlos he wanted to play

Recommended Posts

Some posters are desperate to have a go at Carlos and twist every story into an Anti CC attack. K Lee thinks he's up tp playing on Tuesday, he's not a kid, he's 29 and knows his own body. If there were serious doubts about him doing himself damage the medical team would have made sure he was rested.

Lee is a machine, he is as fit as is possible and just doesn't stop all game. Reach is similar in that respect, neither ever seems to tire towards the end of a game. KL will be good to go on Saturday.

Lee has not been injury prone his entire career.   He's had a bit of a mare the last 6 months but it is not something he's prone to.

Same with Lees, he had a good spell out and everyone went mental saying he's now injury prone - no, he just had a bit of a bad spell and a hard time and has come through and got past it.

We ain't talking Abdi, Loovens (who still has a decent play record with us) etc.

Use your loaf.   I am sure Lee is smart enough to not let desire to play a game be above his fatigue levels or against any injury concerns.

Why is Carlos getting bashed here?  They did their due diligence and it was decided that it's better if Lee was on the bench. Lee tells him his body is fine, which only Lee knows.  Carlos trusts him, treats him like an adult and puts one of our best players in the starting 11.  Good man management if you ask me.

Carlos should have stuck to his guns........................seems crazy to me that he started two games in 4 days after missing so much football over the last 9 months, he is a very important player who needs looking after properly.

Yeah, and imagine the reaction on here if it somehow leaked out that Lee wanted to play and Carlos refused to select him because he prefers to rotatelol

And then combine the above reaction with us not getting 3 points, he'd have had to go into hiding!

the manager has trust in the player and believes him if he says he's fit to play ....there may be other players he's not so sure about and goes on his own judgement .....only carlos knows who he does or doesn't trust so to knock him for something we have no knowledge of is a bit daft .
