Has anybody got a picture of the North stand pre 1961 and in 1961 when it was being built. I remember standing on the rubble with my dad in 1961 watching wednesday beat spurs 2-1. It was the first game spurs had lost in the season. No. 19 or 20 i think. We were second. Health and safety would go bananas now.

The ground gets enough criticism now with what i think is one of the best looking stands in football. It was the first cantilever stand in Europe at the time i think. Would you rather have a Bournemouth style ground. Dont know how they get away with it in the premiership.

Not referring to the North which was a good move and the best stand in the country when erected. I'm referring to the stand where the photo was taken from which is the old shed on the Lepps. They should have built a big new covered standing area for home fans instead of the West stand we have now. In my opinion it was appalling management at the time.
