Looked to me like Kirkland tripped Buxton who in turn fell into their player,

That's exactly how I saw it, what I'm not sure of is whether that's still a foul and a penalty, or is it just bad fortune for the Bournemouth player to in the way of the player that's been tripped

I saw it exactly the same way too, I was surprised that no one commentating on the TV or radio mentioned it after watching the replays.

 

Someone will have to dig out the rule book to see if accidental collisions can be given as fouls when a challenge isn't even made. I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't supposed to be given, in a similar way that accidental handballs with no intent aren't given either.
